The University of Bergamo was founded in 1968, and has progressively grown since then.
It has recuperated many historic buildings in the city of Bergamo,
and enjoys a collaborative relationship with many nearby businesses and industries.
The city of Bergamo is located 40 km northeast of Milan, Italy and is home to over 120,000 inhabitants.
The foothills of the Alps begin immediately north of the city, with many scenic lakes including Como, etc.
The city has two main centers. The upper city is a hilltop medieval town surrounded by 17th century cyclopic defensive walls.
The surrounding modern lower city can be reached using a funicular/cable car, roads, and foot paths.
The conference will be held at the former convent of S. Agostino in the Upper City.
Visiting Italy, Passport and Visa Requirements

All conference attendees entering Italy require a Valid Passport.
Conference attendees may need to apply for a VISA at the Italian Embassy, Consulate, or other VISA-issuing office in their Country of Origin.

Along with your application, the VISA issuing offices usually require that you present a Letter of Invitation to the conference, proof of Conference Registration,
and Airline Ticket confirmation. To obtain a Letter of Invitation to the conference from the local organizing host committee,
